EZ-IRC Client for Java Update

Based on your feedback, we are regularly making improvements to the EZ-IRC Client for Java and are please to make them readily available to you. Included in the IRCJava.zip file is everything you need to update/evaluate the EZ-IRC Client for Java (including instructions).

You are welcome to evaluate the EZ-IRC Client for Java for 30 days. You must register if you intend to use it after the 30 day evaluation period. By downloading the IRCJava.zip file you are acknowledging your acceptance to these terms.

Version 1.29:

Now gets it's size from the applet "width" and "height" tags.
Renamed standalone class file to EzircFrame.class.
Added focus logic to standalone version.

Version 1.17:

Now won't connect without a nickname.

Version 1.16:

Works as stand-alone application (Java runtime required).
Now supports private conversations.
Added "background" parameter to set the applet color.

Version 1.15:

Now works with other IRC servers.
Authorization problems fixed.
Works with EZ-IRC Server version 1.36 and higher.

Version 1.14:

Fixed "Nickname in use" problem.

Version 1.13:

Added parameter "server".
Now supports evaluation mode.

Version 1.12:

Now displays the version number.
Fixed problem with Netscape 3.0b5.
Added parameter "nickname" to set the default text in the nickname field.
